Hi — I'm Nathan. I started Poff Consultingbecause I kept seeing the same thing: businesses with a clear problem, surrounded by software that didn't quite fit, and no one who could both understand the problem and build the solution.

That gap is what I do. I'm a technical consultant who works across the whole picture — from the strategic question of what's even worth building, to designing it, to writing the code and shipping it. One person, accountable end to end, who can talk to you in plain language instead of jargon.

How I think about the work

The best outcome isn't always more software. Sometimes it's a smaller, sharper tool. Sometimes it's deciding not to build and to use something off the shelf instead. My job is to give you honest advice and then deliver on it — not to sell you the biggest project I can.
